Terms And Conditions
Login and registration
Registration for Schauspielfabrik Berlin events must be made in writing, preferably on our registration form, which you can send by post or email. The registration is binding. You will receive a written confirmation of registration by post. If you do not receive the registration confirmation within 7 days of the registration deadline, please contact us. In order to apply for the full-time courses, you must fill out the registration form and send us a current passport photo as well as an informal statement of your personal goals in the field of acting. Schauspielfabrik Berlin reserves the right to decide on admission to individual events. If a minimum number of participants is not reached for an event, Schauspielfabrik Berlin reserves the right to cancel the event. Any fees paid will then be refunded.
The payment of the fees is due with the confirmation. As a rule, they are to be paid by issuing a direct debit authorization. If you pay by bank transfer, the course fee must be credited to the Schauspielfabrik Berlin account no later than the date of payment stated on the invoice. Otherwise, the right to a place lapses. The fee for an event will be calculated on the basis of the minimum number of participants specified. If this minimum number of participants is not reached, a correspondingly higher fee or – if the fee remains the same – a reduction in the number of hours of an event can be agreed in individual cases and at the request of all those interested in the event.
The dates of the individual events will be announced on the Schauspielfabrik Berlin homepage. Schauspielfabrik Berlin reserves the right to change dates.
The fees for each event are listed on the Schauspielfabrik Berlin homepage. The fees are only valid for the respective event and are subject to change. Schauspielfabrik Berlin reserves the right to change the amount of the fee.
Cancellation of an event within the following deadlines must be submitted in writing to Schauspielfabrik Berlin. The submission date is decisive. A complete refund of the course fee is only possible if you cancel your registration up to four weeks before the start of the course. In the event of cancellation during the third week prior to the start of the course, 50% of the fee will be due. In case of cancellation during the last two weeks before the course starts and after the start of the course, no refund is possible and the payment of the event must be made in full. Should Schauspielfabrik Berlin be forced to cancel an event for important reasons (illness of the course instructor, insufficient number of participants or force majeure), Schauspielfabrik Berlin shall only be obliged to refund the participant fees paid. There are no further claims.
Cancellation of lessons
If a lesson or event has not been held due to the absence of lecturers, a substitute will inform or make up for it if possible. A cancellation of lessons by the participant can neither be refunded nor made up for.
Should a participant disturb the trial process in an unreasonable way by missing too often, he can be excluded from the lesson without being reimbursed or made up for.
Rights to film and photos
The images and film material produced during the course are the property of Schauspielfabrik Berlin. Schauspielfabrik Berlin has the right to use all film, photo and video works created during the course for its own advertising purposes. The handing over and exploitation of picture, film and video material is only possible by arrangement. The handing over of picture, film and video material is intended exclusively for the private purposes of the participants and under no circumstances for passing on or exploitation to third parties.
The participant affirms with his registration that he is properly insured against liability, illness and accidents. Schauspielfabrik Berlin is not liable for accidents, thefts and other damage during events or on the way to and from the institute. Course participants attend the events at their own risk. The Schauspielfabrik Berlin management is at liberty to prohibit participants from attending events if they unreasonably impair or disrupt the operation of the course through their conduct.
Verbal collateral agreements are not made. Additional agreements must be made in writing in order to be effective.
In accordance with the provisions of the DSVDG, the registration data is collected and stored in accordance with the statutory retention periods. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. You will find the complete data protection declaration in the imprint.
